In mid-September, we traveled to Grand Teton National Park to photograph the union of our friends Madeline and Alex! It was our first time ever to GTNP as well and wow, it did not disappoint!
The weather the day before was really gloomy and wet, so we scoped out our locations and hatched backup plans for varying weather conditions. Overnight it got cold enough to snow and when we woke up in the morning the day of the wedding, there was a fresh dusting of snow up on the mountains. The clouds obscuring our views were supposed to clear up the day went on.
We split up in the morning to take shots with the guys and gals of the bridal party getting ready. Before we knew it, it was time to head to Schwabacher's Landing and get ready for the main event! Like clockwork, as soon as the ceremony began, the sun began shining through the clouds and lit up the bride perfectly as she walked down the aisle. The Teton Range started to become visible as the clouds lifted throughout the vows and songs and as they kissed for the first time as a married couple, it was a perfectly sunny day.
Thanks for letting us document your big day! We sure these pictures will help you remember every moment for the rest of your life!
